The hotel was comfortable with basic amenities. The room and bathroom were clean. The staff was friendly and allowed a late checkout. The only drawback was the food, which was just bad. This is a very good option for a 1-2 day trip to Amritsar.

the property is old.. but as they say.. old is gold.. good hotel.. good staff.. food is decent.. location is really nice.. overall experience was worth it.. they have ample parking space which is a boon for people travelling in there own cars..

It is a good place to stay for tourists visiting Amritsar for a day or two. It is located in a considerably quite part of town from where you can easily access vehicles to get around town. The food is not bad, not too spicy which suits most tourists palates.

Visited Amritsar during the monsoon season and the carpets in the hotel smelt like it. Very musty. We also weren`t impressed to find a pair of childs pajamas inside the `made` bed on arrival! Also hotel reception were not very helpful we couldnt use the free siteseeing trip offered in our package as they couldnt provide a car with seatbelts... More

This gives a feel of a old hotel but is still maintained well.. The carpeting is old and stained but otherwise a good property overall. Opposite to the same is a market and a restaurant called Kulcha Land which serves delicious melt in the mouth Kulchas as a breakfast.
