Checked out this morning after spending the weekend there. First trip to Amritsar and if I come back will definately be staying at this hotel. I chose Golden Tulip by trip advisor.It definitely reached my expectations. The staff,the manager and the food were all great. The rooms were comfortable and everyone very cordial. I am going to recommend it to everyone travelling to Amritsar. It is THE place to stay in Amritsar!! Many thanx to everyone at Golden Tulip. Will be coming soon. :)

Not in the best location if visiting Amritsar for the Golden Temple, but it is close enough. Staff is extremely helpful setting up taxis to Wagah border ceremony and onward to Dharamsala. Rooms are very clean and nice. Room service and food was very good. Would highly recommend!

Check-in at the Golden Tulip was seamless and speedy, unlike at many hotels in India. Good rooms, helpful staff and good food. We stayed at the hotel for a night and they gave us complementary railway station pick up and an early check-in without much ado. Enjoyed our stay. I was there in Amritsar for two days , booked Golden Tulip for my stay which was a very good decision. The rooms were spacious, had a very good lounge. The buffet was delicious.
