“Its the perfect paradise”

I visited this place this January and there is no word to explain how beautiful this place is.Almost 40 acres of plantations including tea,cardamom,pepper,cloves,cocoa,nut meg and all major fruits adds a lot of beauty to the place.Its the perfect hide out.I have never seen a place with unlimited fishing facility.Me and my wife got a 3kg fish which was cooked very deliciously in traditional style .The village atmosphere brings the primary purpose of relaxation so peaceful with some boating and bathing in the natural river which is running through the property. I stayed at the Rock house of this hotel which the hotel claims as a Premium Place. However, this cottage built over a rock and facing an artificial water body and the tea gardens does not even have a intercom. If you have to talk to the reception of the hotel, you have to call on the mobile phone of the staff (and typically these numbers are switched off most of the times). Water logging in the bathroom, the taps are broken....its not a place I will ever recommend.

You will take a long time to locate the hotel. Its more than 30 min drive from Munnnar. Though they call it as a hotel its not even like a guest house.

The food is horrible but the money they charge is exorbitant. When the onion was 24 Rs. a Kg, for a plate of onion salad having precisely 4 extremely thin slices of onion they charged Rs. 40.

Though they claim the breakfast as complimentary, but the quantity they serve it appears as if they are giving alms.

There are much better options... More
