I visited the hotel during a professional trip. The hotel is very spacious and the views over the lake are superb. The relation price-quality is good and the service is friendly. The hotel is comprised by three different buildings, built at different times. Each one with different quality and services. The overall relation quality/service is fine.

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. Rooms are very small and there are mosquitos inside and outside the room. If you are planning to stay in that hotel, be prepared for the mosquitos. The hotel is rehabilitated and has a satisfactory pozion along Lake Ohrid. The hotel rooms are comfortable. I suggest you choose the rooms overlooking the lake.

I remeber spending a week at a resort hotel in Jugoslavia some 30 years ago.Hotel Metropole was as if nothing had changed during the intervening years.Vast hotel,school dinner type food, nothing actually going on there.Its quite a few kilometres outside Ohrid.Taxi costs 2 euros to the town so its not too bad.There is absolutely nothing to do in the hotel.One... Hotel is big and nice, surraunded with beautiful nature, but there are no entertainment, and many of good potentials are waste: lunch is indoor, the terasse is always partly mess, sport terrains are in bad condicions etc. Though, the stuff is polite, rooms are nice with beautiful view to the lake, shortley, it was a peacefull and pleseant holiday.

Spiders on balconies and bad selfish food. Not recommended.
