From the gorgeous views, the helpful staff and beautiful grounds you can't go wrong with a stay at El Tejado. Try to rent one of the newer rooms with views ov the lake/canyon. A couple bucks more, but worth it.

I was sad that I didn't bring my kids swimsuits to here, they have so beautiful pool, and we spend a great lunch at a wonderful afternoon. Food was good, not great, but they welcome us very kind, and everything was on time.

We stayed in El Tejado for 2 nights mid-way through our trip through Central America. The rooms and bathroom were clean and comfortable, as well as the common facilities. The view to Lake Suchitlan is superb, and breakfast of good quality. Dinner was on the expensive side for the food offered, but there are other very good restaurants walking distance... More

Very Nice Hotel. My room was spacious and clean. Excellent value for what I paid. 5-10 Minute walk from center of city and near beautiful lake Suchitito with an open air restaurant and pool that overlook the lake. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast included.

El Tejado is located overlooking a huge lake, is very serene and relaxing. The pool is also great and the water is the perfect temperature.
