Found a great deal on Booking.com for Amfora Hotel and enjoyed our stay here thouroughly. The rooms were very modern and clean. We didn't have towels on arrival, but the staff was very quick to respond to our request for them. We had a very relaxing stay in Hvar, a lot of this thanks to Amfora. Our room was comfortable with an appropriate amount of space , comfortable bed and the bathroom was great. We particularly enjoyed the pool area which has lots of deckchairs well spaced around a beautiful pool, with tree and hut islands adding to the relaxed feel.... More

Just returned from an 8 day stay in Amfora having been recommended by a family member who stayed there last year. On the plus side: the aircon is good and the blackout blinds very effective so the rooms make for a good night sleep. The pool area is really nice, lots of trees and a nice view. On the downside, the food was really not good at all. Burned omlettes, overcooked eggs, oily, greasy congealed bacon. Not much fruit at all.... More
