We spent several weeks researching where to stay in Cavtat and came across this absolute gem via Andrusko.

This was the first time we had taken the plunge and not stayed in a hotel and we were so happy with our stay that it is unlikely we will stay in hotel accomodation again in this type of resort - Why would you?!
We hadn't fully appreciated just how hilly Cavtat was until the approach in and we passed several apartments that we had looked at, but we just kept going down and down towards the centre!!! For the record there are many apartments on here proclaiming to be '250 metres' from the seafront - they aren't, trust me! They are getting on towards 1km and that is one serious climb on the way back out!
