Have stayed here several times and find the Rooms very nice, clean and the staff very accommodating. Central location and easy to get in and out by car. The cookie is a nice touch and if you stay more than a day, ask for another cookie each day....they don't mind.

I stayed at this hotel for one night, the first time at a Doubletree in ages. The location is good, close to restaurents and the UAB Hospital. I was stranded in Birmingham because if a cancelled layover flight and the staff found me a room, breakfast and made sure everything was ready in the 20 minutes before my arrival. The breakfast was enjoyable and the staff was attentive and very nice.

Make no mistake about it- this hotel has a fantastic location. If you need to stay in downtown Birmingham for any reason you could not ask to be in a better spot. Nice clean hotel, comfortable beds, friendly helpful staff. Didn't try the restaurant, but heard it was good. Staff makes you feel very welcome. Good location and easy to find from the airport. The only thing I was disappointed in was there isn't free internet in your room, only the lobby.

Cramped "Motel" sized room. Double, (at least) the money we would have spent almost anywhere else for a tiny double bed room. Air conditioner from HELL, made me jump every time it cycled. Horrible, uncomfortable beds, and bedding. I'll never stay with this chain again at any price. Charged for parking, wanted to charge for internet access? WTH?

The overnight stay at DoubleTree was fantastic. The room was very clean and updated. The bed was wonderful and I got a good night's sleep. The staff was very helpful and breakfast was delivered to our room on time the next morning making me ready for my meeting on time.

Our stay at Doubletree was excellent. We were there for a doctor's appointment at the Kirklin Clinic and the hotel offered us free shuttle to and from the clinic which we greatly appreciated. The entire staff was very kind and gracious.

It is obvious that the GM of this location takes pride in his property and his staff. Every employee I encountered was a superb ambassador for the both the Doubletree brand and the city of Birmingham, AL.
