This hotel is well situated for the cafes and downtown area. The rooms are very comfortable and the price is negotiable. We paid 150Y for a double. The bus to Mogao leaves right outside the hotel every hour and the bus to the sand dune is on the next corner.

This hotel is very central, rather clean and absolutely well situated, along the central road of the (rather small, as far as I could realize) city. The room I had wasn't bad at all, the service was OK, and the price was really low (about 16 €!).
