We were traveling around Myanmar and stayed at this hotel by chance as most places were full. The accommodation is made up of small bungalows and the hotel is set in the town of Nyaungshwe which suited us well. This is a very pretty village, near the river which leads into Inle Lake and the hotel is situated near the... More

Joaozinho describes this place well; the layout, design and materials are indeed from another era, but it has a certain charm and the balconies are spacious and well-equipped with comfortable chairs. Rooms were on the well-worn end of the spectrum, but seemed generally clean. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Breakfast lacked any inspiration, but the... More

like many hotels in the area this is built above the lake. It's located on a narrow part of the lake so there's a bit of traffic going past, though this is part of the charm of the hotel. Get one of the lake view rooms - the balcony opens out on the lake, and it's great for watching boats... More

The hotel is a wooden and mat structure standing in the lake on stilts. Little cottages in the lake are connected by wooden bridges. One is transported to the hotel by a long boat ride through the lake. ( Do wear your life jackets ! We had an accident but no damages luckily ).The rooms are charming with mosquito nets... More

Paradise Inle Resort is centrally located to do your exploration of the Lake. All the rooms are situated our the water giving a calming and relaxed atmosphere. But be warned that this water makes the place pretty cold at night. So be ready with warm clothing if you visit in Winter. All units are stand-alone. The rooms and bathroom are... More

Very nice hotel. It was extremely quiet - there are maybe 30 rooms and we saw two other groups there. Stayed 2 nights. Room was fine - we were upgraded to the lake facing room and had a great balcony and big, clean room. Staff were friendly. It may be the case in other hotels on Inle Lake, but they... More

The friendly and helpful staffs greet us at the deck as our boat approached the resort. Love the cottage, it's clean and comfortable. It's magical to watch the beautiful sunset from the deck. We had grilled fish and vegetable curry for dinner, couple with the complimentary bean curd with special sos... yummy. amazing place, I would stay here again.

Every glance is worth a photo. The staff here is wonderful, helpful, and if they can't help you with questions you have they find someone who can. Since you are on the water and probably without your own private boat (after a days tour) you are sorta stuck, but not a bad place to be stuck at all. Nice facilities... More
