I really enjoyed staying at The Sofitel Sao Paulo. The suite is big, bright and very comfortable. The restaurant serves a nice dinner if you are not willing to go out for a meal. I recently spent 3 nights at the Sofitel. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. However the hotel felt tired. Only one choice of resturant for dinner, and frankly the food I had, duck was average at best. Again, the service was excellent, food just not up to the same level. After the mad taxi ride in from the airport the Sofitel was a welcome haven of civilization and tranquility. Being parched and tired from the overnight flight the courtesy melon juice at Reception was a nice touch.
