As many other Mercure hotels this one is pretty decent. The location is not the best but offers easy access to the main roads. Good service, clean room, good shower. For one or two nights on a business trip this a good choice. Pricewise, I always find hotels in Sao Paulo and Campinas expensive. Some other good options for the... More

Modern public areas and rooms. Everything you would need in a business hotel. flat screen TV, minibar, business centre, internet access. Most reception staff speak some english, some better than others and are generally helpful. If you prepay for breakfast make sure that it is registered properly as you could end up with an argument on check out or in... More

Clean, well-equpped, modern rooms with flat screen TV, refrigerator, etc. Friendly, professional customer service at check-in and check-out. They spoke some English. Excellent food in the restaurant. Free internet service. The only negative is that the downtown location had some surrounding neighborhoods that did not look safe. So I did not walk around outside after dark. However, I am a... More

I would recommend that the hotel is good to stay. Restaurant has limited options for vegetarians. No microwave in the room. No free water. Has 24h internet free. They has some English speaking staff as well. More

The hotel is in an OK location, but I wouldn't walk around the streets at night. Inside the hotel is safe, clean, with friendly staff. Breakfast is decent, no complaints. The Internet work OK, but was not great. More

Very nice, clean hotel for business trips. Has everything you need for such a purpose, nothing spectacular, but friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet of standard quality included. I would recommend this at any time. More

Decent but not spectacular business hotel. Tired room decor but bathrooms have been updated. No iron in room, must request at front desk. Very limited English knowledge from staff (front desk, restaurant.) Wired internet works well but access must be requested from front desk. Room Window does not open. Room door very flimsy and no deadbolt. Staff attempted to enter... More

Don't know why I pay more for a good hotel in Campinas, than a similar in São Paulo. However, given that, I've found that Mercure Campinas is a good, balanced option for my stays. Very quick check-in/ check-out is quite good for my needs, fast retrieval of the parked car is also a high. The hotel is centrally located, right... More

I spent 3 days at the Mercure Campinas hotel on business. The hotel is located in the Centro district. I was traveling with a Brazilian colleague so there was no language problem. Most employees I did interface with spoke English well enough to understand. We would walk to work the 3 days we were there and left the car in... More
