This is an excellent hotel. Very quiet street, very good neighbourhood, close to good bars and restaurants (about 1/2 km to Padre Chagas st.). Room is big. Bed is in the middle (not against the wall) of the "bedroom area", which also contains a business table. It has a kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer... Also a spacious... More

The room was very clean, the hotel has a pleasant staff and is in a silent area. They offer good breakfast and the wi-fi internet works fine. The room is well equipped (including dishwasher, stove and grill). In summary, the best hotel I have ever stayed in Porto Alegre. More

Hotel location is very good in a calm neighborhood. Hotel is clean and rooms are spacious and comfortable. Hotel facilities are well maintained. Hotel staff are dedicated, but it seems like there is need for more people. More

I stayed for one night in June 2011 due to business travel. Hotel ambiance is ok, decor could be updated (think about light wood, bland decoration). My room was more like a mini studio/kicthenette. TV remote control did not work but after calling concierge this was fixed. A boring aspect there was only one remote control for two TV sets... More

It's set in a dead end, very calm street - absolutely silent. it's a small Mercure, well kept and furnished like a suite (full kitchen, washer, dryer, fridge, microwave, oven) with separate bedroom. It's not very modern, but very comfortable. Breakfast is very good and cheapper than usual comparing to other Mercures I've stayed in. It's in the best neighborhood... More

Hotel charges you in advance. Bathroom was not clean when I arrived, neither was the living room. Reception desk people are unfriendly and don´t know basic checkin/checkout procedures. Ah, reviews must be at least 200 characters, otherwise website will not accept you input. Apparently, Mercure Hotels does not believe in being succint and to the point. More

I´ve been to this hotel two times already (and would have been there another time if it had any rooms last time I stayed at Porto Alegre). It is a flat, so the rooms have the bedroom and a living room and a small kitchen. The breakfast is quite simple, but the staff keeps the food coming... The street is... More
