What more could you want in the middle of Rio? The bar on the roof was fantastic. As a solo traveler I found it even easier than usual to meet others. Have to disagree with the previous reviews. Stayed there in august and found that the room we reserved was quite clearly a converted cupboard. i know that hostels are budget accomodation but this really wasn't acceptable. Don't think twice before choosing Stone of a Beach as the best hostel to stay in Rio! I had a great time there and the opportunity to meet young people coming from all around the world! It's a very cozy place and they have a great barbecue party for their guest! It's worth it! more
