The hotel staff is great and very helpful. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean, if slightly dated. Breakfast is fabulous, and the view of Copacabana beach from the top-floor breakfast room is even better. Great location, reasonable prices--I would definitely recommend this hotel. More

Just a street back from Copacabana Beach in a safe neighbourhood. Staff were helpful and easygoing with an amazing view from the breakfast room on the roof! The rooms were quite dated, and furniture very old, with a very weird smell - keep the cupboards closed! More

We had this hotel selected for us as part of our tour - however it was one of the better hotel experiences we had in south america. Located one block back from the beachfront, from my corner room I can just about see the sea. Rooms are clean but basic, slightly outdated decor but functional. Staff seem reasonably helpful. Stayed here as part of Intrepid tour, well located hotel (we had a view from one of our windows out over Copacabana beach), clean and well sized rooms and cuboards but nothing flash. Internet access in lobby, but very slow. Overall it was a clean, basic hotel, good breakfast, good location. More
