I've already stayed at lot of hotels in copacabana beach: caifornia othon, olinda othon, Lancaster, rio othon and debret. All of them are terrible and debret is the worst. Yeah it is right on Copacabana Beach but this hotel is extremely terrible, furniture and beds in the rooms are terrible. It is overpriced for what it is. The rooms are extra small. Very unfortunate with staying 5 nights at Debret Hotel. Standard room, in this hotel means a standard prison cell. You do not have a space for you and the bags. The hotel is located right across the street from Copacabana beach and is like 10 steps from avenida atlantica (the main drag). The hotel itself is very well kept and has a doorman and staff that are very helpful from offering directions to getting cabs for you.
