Stayed at this hotel for two weeks in July of 2012. Truly basic comfort (A/C, fridge, TV), average sized room, very small bathroom, clean though and well maintained by housekeeping. The location is fabulous, close to the beach and public transportation. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are dated but clean. Traffic noise is a problem in lower rooms on the main ride, but less so on the side street. All in all, a good place to stay for business or exploring Rio.

Nice staff, good location for public transportation. Breakfast could be better. Clean, safe, good staff that was helpful. Not too expensive and a <5 minute walk from Copa beach. cabs were plentiful and not too expensive.

This hotel has the advantage of being 50 meters from the beach of Copacabana. But it is too noisy. From 6 in the morning when the traffic on in Copacabana Avenue, you can not sleep anymore. And it has a horrible decor. Too old. Has the advantage of having a courteous and friendly personal. The breakfast is rich. Cheap.

Good accomodations and reasonable price for the rooms. I stayed 6 days without any kind of problem with the hotel and service. The location is reasonable close to the main places to go but the neighborhood is a little bit unsafety.
