My key card never worked. My room was on the 7th floor. So I would go up, notice it wouldnt work, then have to go down and ask to get rekeyed. it was super annoying because we stayed there for a week. The manager even had to come up and change the battery to the door but it still didn't... More

The place is ok. The food is ok. The surroundings is also ok. Back to back to the Copacabana Palace Hotel and much less expensive is very near to the famous Copacabana Beach. The bed is okay, the general facility is okay. THe best option for mid price hotels, three stars.

Every once in a while, you come across a hotel that has everything you need, like alarm clocks and irons and ironing boards in the room... that has wi-fi that works quickly and consistently without dropping you every few minutes... that has a restaurant where waiters notice that there is no silverware on the tables, or that your coffee cup... Well organized hotel with friendly staff. The food excellent and the price is very reasonable. Only problem is the language, English is for most of the staff still a problem. If you are a smoker, the swimming pool on the top floor is a nice place.

This hotel is good if you are on business but I wouldn´t stay here for a holiday. It is located right in the centre of town on one of the busiest streets with easy access to the metro system. The rooms at the front and side are good sized with great double glazing so you dont hear any of the... More

I stayed here for a transit rather than spend 12 hours in the airport. The tiny, clean but dated room had a queen size bed, luggage bench, table, chair, minibar fridge & closet. There were power points at the desk. The bed was comfortable with reasonable linen. Additional linen was provided in the closet, along with a safe. There were... More

Stayed overnight here while in Rio fro business. The room was small, but clean and like other reviews have said, a bit dated. I was so tired at the time, I could have slept on a concrete bed, but the mattress was comfortable enough. Big, clean bathroom and fairly quiet. The front desk weren't the friendliest, but weren't hostile either....somewhere... More

Thankfully I am only staying here one night but that is probably one night too long. I have been on a tour of five other cities in Brazil with work and this is easily the worst hotel of the lot. I have no idea if this is standard for Rio but: The room is VERY dated (think late 80s) Bed... More

It was a decent stay. 2 nights. Clean enough with large rooms. Not the friendliest people at the front desk. They were obviously going out of their way to talk with me. Not sure if hospitality was really their thing. It's not really within walking distance by American standards. We had a 4K walk to Lapa. Interesting sights along the... More
