This hotel is conveniently located one block over from Copacabana beach. It's on the south end of Copacabana, so it's a very short walk to Arpoador and Ipanema beaches as well. Often larger hotels are impersonal, this is not the case at Copa Sul. We found this hotel comfortable, well situated and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Good English spoken at reception. Excellent breakfast. We didn't try any other meals, preferring to eat out. Would recommend.

Stayed there in mid-Dec, good value for money hotel if you want to stay in Copacabana area. Only after visiting Rio we realized all the action is in Ipanema (10 min walk)
