It was horrible. Very old rooms. Bad clean service. Breakfast not variated. The wifi just work in the lobby. The center it's creepy by night and weekends. It's just good for a business trip, near the center.

Its a 3-star hotel, so dont expect anything.
Location was great for Carnivale, Public Transport outside for trips to Copacabana , 1omin walk to markets.
Rooms are old and not very clean, aircon was filthy. Power point hanging loose in bathroom.
Breakfast was terrible, (good old grey scrambled eggs) at least the fruit was fresh.

Arriving tired from a business trip the first thing that comes to your mind is a good bath and a comfortable bed... right ? WRONG That´s all you won't find in this hotel, as well as smelling of mold in the room. Wi-fi also doesn´t work, only at reception.
Stayed there for one night and I was glad it was just the night - Its a budget hotel and I understand that and I'm not too fussy but I wasn't happy with the place. Air Con was like a plane taking off and was right beside the bed plus it looked like it was 50 years old and unsafe....

Free wi-fi is available in the lobby and the restaurant, and I was...

İt is a terribly hotel. It ıs so dirty. Receptions does'nt speak English. Rooms seems like 40 years old.
I have travelled around the world and never been at such a dirty, crappy hotel and rooms who haven´t been renovated for at least 50 years and only portugese speaken staff who are really rude.
We stayed here as it was the cheapest option we could find around carnival time. Have stayed in better hostels - bathroom had plain concrete floor, horrible but working shower and toilet. Room v small and beds v basic, but as we weren't planning to spend much time there (just out at carnival etc) it wasn't too bad. However, buffet...
