I have a soft spot in my heart for this hotel. No, it is not the "Grand Dame" of Copacabana hotels, but it offers a fantastic beachfront location for a very reasonable price. Yeah it is right on Copacabana Beach but it is extremely run down, furniture and beds in the rooms are terrible. It is overpriced for what it is. The beach is not that nice anyway (then again I am a spoilt Australian used to much better beaches) and the nearby area dangerous at night - I would recommend staying further... More
