This is a classic hotel property. Phenomenal location (across from Copacabana beach), exceptional staff and services. Operated by Orient-Express, they recently added @ 44 superior rooms in new/renovated building. Also added a small nightclub and spa. Wonderful all day buffet in their terrace/poolside restaurant. I recently had a 3 nights stay at the Copa in an ocean view suite. At my arrival (10 am) they offered me some cofee and tea during the check in. The room wasn't ready, they told me they would have needed about 40 minutes and so it was. From the outside, the building of the hotel looks realy grand.... more
