We recently stayed here for 4 nights in a junior suite room. First thing to note is that this hotel is a long way from Copacabana and other key attractions. I have always enjoyed this hotel and the staff. I find the staff friendly and knowledgeable. They are always able to help me have a great time. Very close to the ocean with a good view from most rooms, the Intercontinental has potential. Unfortunately, the hotel is run down.
