Spent a night there, the room is old and out dated. The location is ok but not spectacular.

Location is the best thing about this hotel. It's across the street from the beach, close to the night market, and a short walk (less than 1 km) to the metro. Nice and new renovated hotel in Rio. Located in Copacabana, beachfront. Superb breakfast. Beautiful terrace view. Might be overpriced. I recommend.

The Arena Copacabana was great. It's right in the middle of Copacabana Beach. We could walk right out the door, cross the street and enjoy the beach. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was great.

The hotel was very nice, very clean, great location. The check-in had several hiccups, the rooftop bar had poor service, the room service did not have many items listed on their menu, and daily cleaning of the room didn't happen until we called for it. Located in the middle of Copacabana. Good for the beach but transportation to the tourist attractions are the same from anywhere in the town. Shopping is better in Ipanema. After the ranking in Tripadvisor and the price we thought we would have a better hotel. The building has a lifeless modern glass facade, the lobby is small without a character.... More

Just got back from Rio. Stayed in the Arena Hotel, excellent location, excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are fairly basic but clean. roof top terrace gives excellent veiws of the beach just across the road. Restaurants are a little limoited around the hotel. The beach and streets are safe to walk during the day and night.
