I stayed at Pousada Guaraná for 3 nights with my wife. The place is really great and relaxing ! David and Jimena are excellent hosts, and help us a lot suggesting the greatest spots to visit in Paraty. Pousada Guarana was a great and easy getaway after a week in Rio. Rooms are super-clean and beautiful (you want one of the rooms on the central hallway: which are the higher numbered ones. We enjoyed our stay in Pousada Guarana: Nicely decorated room, nice pool and breakfast area, and a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere created by the friendly hosts. You need a bike to get into town but it's a mainly a pleasant drive. more
