Great Pousada and good value for money. Excellent breakfasts, fantastic views, great staff. Paraty had terrible weather when we were there but we still had such a great time relaxing in hammocks at the Pousada.

You will have the best view, without paying more for it. And very close to the historic downtown

Set back on a hill opposite the entrance to the Fort gives the views from this pousada out over the marina in Paraty a wow factor. The pousada has a small pool in a well kept but small garden area. Stayed at this pousada with spouse and grown daughter last week. Room 8 (or 108) has the loveliest view (balcony too) and will accomodate 3. An amazing breakfast, a friendly and very helpful staff (Alex books tours and gives good advice where to travel on your own), a wonderful view over the bay of Paraty - the perfect pousada for a holiday in Paraty!

Up a hill from the center of town, this place got great reviews from Lonely Planet, and LP's description was right on the money. Rooms were sized right for two people, ours had two twin beds caddy-corner to one another. Our other room had a queen bed. Windows were open, no screens and no glass. It is a small but nice pousada with a great view to the coast & sea rocks. Best to view at the sun rise. Clean nice rooms, tiny swimming pool, tasty breakfast. Internet access! And a very nice owner...
