I have stayed at the Lancaster in Rio several times. Although it's a little rough around the edges, I've tolerated it because it's not too expensive and the balcony looks over Copocabana Beach. Lancaster is a traditional hotel just in the middle of Curitiba downtown. I shared a room wtih a job mate ant we really appreciated the period.
