For the price I paid, I expected more. Rooms are nice but quite small. Brazilian design, very simple but you have everything. Minibar is quite noisy, but at least you get a split AC. The people working there are nice, breakfast is nice, location is very nice. Swimming pool is small and was dirty.

Although Expresso is the "economy" branch of the Solare hotel chain, we felt that the rates (rack rate over 300 Reais; we paid just under 200 through a travel agent) were high for what we got.
