The rooms were very clean with nice, comfortable beds. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Since we were there to shop on Black Friday, the location was perfect and we were able to walk to many of the stores we planned to visit. Overall, a very nice stay. more

I stayed at the Microtel in Appleton (the motel is actually in Grande Chute, WI) because of its close proximity to Time-Warner Field (aka Fox Cities Stadium). I was in town for a Wisconsin Timber Rattlers game. The Timber Rattlers are a minor league baseball team and are the Seattle Mariners "Class 'A'" affliate. The motel is nothing extravagent, but it's close to highway 41 and many restaurants. Mini-muffins and coffee for breakfast in the lobby. Friendly staff, clean rooms, wi-fi. more

Microtels' have a small hotel feeling. Room was small but clean. There are limited amenties but it does have a gym with working equipment and nice hot tub. Continental breakfast was the usual but adequate. more
