Location was excellent being central to old town centre and yet not so close that the vast amount of live music was annoying when in the room. Glauber, the manager, is super laid back, professional and helpful. Anderson, does a great job with the airport transfer and tour of the city (his price is below the competition and his professionalism is par with the best). The location of the guest house is basically on Pelourinho with a great view of many of churches and old colonial houses... More

My stay there was really enjoyable as the pousada is fantastic: nice rooms and views, clean, good breakfast... On the top of that, the owner and the staff are extremely kind and helpful, which contributes to a very friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. I am very grateful for the support they offered to me!

Very close to historic Pelourinho, with brand new and clean rooms, private bathroom. The view from the swimming pool is just lovely. Breakfeast OK and served by the pool. AC units in the rooms are quite noisy. Staff is very friendly though the ladies at the desk in the middle of the day didn't speak any english.

Stayed for two nights in December. Well located, close enough to Pelourinho (down and up a narrow steep street), just max 5 minutes walk. I really like stay in this hotel. The rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly, the breakfeast was good . If I travel to Salvador again, I'd like to stay in Pousada da Mangueira again.
