I had the best time of all I was travelling around Brazil,northeast and north,but when i arrived in Salvador,I felt really good. the pousada was very cozy,the rooms were very clean and confortable nice food,great breakfast and I was very well treated by the staff.

I second everything Ron B wrote, including the absent toilet seat. I will also add that I eventually gave up on trying to get my trashed picked up (the instructions in the hallway sternly require it to be put out at certain hours, but not once did this occur); and the breakfast was awful by Brazilian standards, "served" by some... Best to stay in the main house. The suites looked appealing but we are still missing a toilet seat and no hot water in one shower.
