One of our preferred hotels in Salvador at Class Adventure Travel for those who are in the search of a central located hotel for a fair price! Bahiacafe hotel is located on Praca da Se one of the important squares in Pelourinho (Salvador’s historical center). The perfect location to explorer the higher parts of the city and good connections to... More

We stayed here for almost three days. The location is perfect, right in the center, although the hotel itself does not have a parking, you can easily locate a parking garage very near to the hotel. The room was very colorful & quite big. Also the breakfast is fine. The staff is really friendly and everyone talks English; really a... More

We spent 3 weeks traveling in Brazil from south to north. This was one of my most favorite cities and hotel was the best hotel we stayed at. You MUST visit Salvador. It truly is different than any other city we visited. From the beaches, coporiea to the slave history and its culture. Everyone said to be careful there. More... More

Incorporating the best of Bahian color and eclectic art, the online description of this boutique hotel drew us in from a continent away. We were not disappointed. The colors inside and out are deep, bright and pastel, giving an unusual warmth to the myriad stairs and passageways in the place as you make your way around, while admiring the striking... More

This hotel is located in the western part of the city in historical center. There are two options to get there, either by taxi, which is more convenient or by bus, which is much cheaper (3R$ per person) but take more than an hour. Another disadvantage was that we had to wait approx. 30 minutes for a bus to come... More

Right at the end of famous Pelourinho and close by the Lacerda elevator to the harbour quarter, this is an elegant, though noisy boutiquish hotel. Staff is friendly and speaks its English well. The interior of this old colonial house was brought down to its essentials and makes an airy and casual impression. The various function rooms on the 1st... More

This hotel is in a great location for the central historic area of Salvador. The staff were helpful and spoke good English. The hotel also doubles up as a cafe and internet cafe. The rooms were of a typical rustic nature which was very nice. Our room came with an air-con unit which worked well. The bed was comfortable, there... More

My friend and I spent 2 wonderful nights at this hotel which is perfectly located, in the heart of Pelourinho, + - 1h10 minutes by bus from the airport. To get to the hotel, we took the red bus from the airport (line name is Praca da Se) at the cost of 2.80 R$ and it leaves approximately every 50... More

This is an old building lovingly restored and converted into a small hotel right in Praca de Se which is the heart of old Salvador. To get to the Cathedral is a 30 second walk! This is an area which 20 years ago you might not have dared venture into but it is now a lively place with decent hotels,... More
