This is probably one of the best options in Manaus for a reasonable price. It's a super cute hotel with great staff, but it is LOUD! Very hard to sleep here. If they fix that, I would have given it 4 stars. PROS: Location. Next to the Theatre and main square, probably the only interesting things to do in Manaus... More

This hotel could be so much better. The problem is that it is extremely noisy, and I mean extremely. It is on a very busy road, beside one of the busiest bars in the city, full of students. There is a singer there who sounds like terrible karaoke, until 1 a.m. and sometimes until 3 a.m. The church bells start... More

We stayed at Casa Teatro for one night after arriving in Manaos and before heading out to the Amazon. The place has been carefully designed ans quite cleverly fits asany rooms they could get in a small space. The decor is made to look eclectic with interesting lighting (which I had to turn on myself) and good public areas. WiFi... More

We stayed 3 nights in the recently completed family room. As all rooms in the hotel, the room is really small. The double bed is located in a small box below the stairs of the hotel. The room is located next to the reception, so you are really aware of all check in and phone call at the hotel. That... More

The hotel is right around the corner of the theater and the main square in Manaus. Which is actually the only nice place to see there in downtown! The room itself (we were in the Goethe) was super small and had no window. Shower and toilet are separated from the room by a green glass window, there was no privacy... More

Forget your idea of what is an hotel room, give it a chance to know a new concept of stayng, what a big surprise and fun was, for me and my daughter. Yes, it´s kind of capsules, but very functional and well decorated, all the hotel is a charming and the attendants are so polite and kind. No big deal... More

After our standard priced (BRL50, no bargaining) taxi from Manaus airport we arrived at this little oasis of good taste for a two-night stay before heading into the jungle. We booked easily by Internet a couple of months before: desk staff were attentive and helpful during all phases of our stay. There is no lift so hiking our heavy cases... More

Just wanted to echo what others have said, the hotel is in an excellent location. It's a few steps from the Teatro Amazonas, the old Opera house in the middle of the Amazon. It's 2 min walk up the street from Gero Tours, a well reviewed Amazon tour company here in TripAdvisor. The hotel is very clean and modern. It... More

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and speaks good English. They give tips on where you can go for diner and which streets you should not go after sundown. The rooms are well decorated, bright, very clean and recently built/renovated. The bathroom with excellent shower was very much appreciated after our stay in the Amazon forest. Make sure... More
