Well, a ten minute walk from the station is fine if it is FLAT, but there is a really steep hill in between you and the hotel. It is a bit isolated from other restaurants/bars/shopping. I stayed at this hotel as a base for a conference so it was out of ease not necessarily choice. The hotel is set on a hill overlooking the beach and with views over Mount Fuji. The room seemed to be large for Japan with full length windows with the views (that is if Mount Fuji emerges from the clouds).... more
