Stayed during bike week. Staff was great. They set up places for the bikes to be washed. Put out ice water for those that came in hot and dry. Front desk was very helpful, on local places to eat, and how to get to them. They even bake hot cookies for an afternoon snack. Pool is about half shaded so... more

I stayed at two Hampton Inns (Abilene & Austin) last week. The one in Austin was $150/night including their tax. I was appalled that both Hampton Inns use polystyrene for their breakfasts; everything is plastic. This hotel looks like it has been recently remodeled. The carpet and decor was very cheery and modern. Rooms were clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.
