This was a really nice hotel and we got a decent rate on hotwire.com. It's a bit out of our price range but it certainly was a great experience. Everything was sparkly new and pretty. A nice treat! More

I was very impressed by the service at the Mansion. Having brought my daughter to Austin for a mother/daughter getaway it was the perfect place. The Mansion had such wonderful hill country southern charm to it. It was Beautifully decorated with fine antiques giving the Mansion a wonderful ambiance. The evening offered drinks on the porch making you feel as if... More

Overall, I'd have to say I was impressed with Mansion at Judge's Hill. The restaurant was, although empty when I arrived at 6 PM on a Wednesday ... delicious. My room was spacious & clean. They seemed to have all the ammenities they promise. My only grip was they grant gym passes with a partner gym up the road. Not... More

We stayed here on 1/27/2012 and 1/28/2012. The first night was fine. The room was nicely done and it's a very pretty place. The second night we were blasted out of bed at 2:30 by a tremendously loud party that continued until 4.A.M. We kept thinking it would be over any minute but no such luck. I didn't call the... More

I stayed in here in August for 1 night on a short stay in Austin following a conference. Booked the hotel based on the Tripadviser reviews and found it a great place to stay. The building is very attractive with lots of charm. The rooms are nicely fitted out and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend... More

We just returned from a wonderful weekend in Austin. I enjoy staying at boutique hotels and we were very pleased with The Mansion. Our king room was nicely decorated and overlooked the courtyard. We started our evening at the bar where we received outstanding drinks and service. After a fun night out on the town, it was great to come... More

I made reservations for our anniversary, and upon checking in was warmly greeted with assurances that our accommodations were thoroughly prepared ( also I was treated to fresh, gourmet chocolate chip cookies). The room was an elegant deluxe king overlooking the courtyard from our balcony. Drinks at the bar started a wonderful evening. Returning to the hotel after dinner and... More

This is an establishment with a split personality. It seems to aspire to dual status as a Boutique Hotel and a luxury Bed & Breakfast. In doing so I think it achieves neither. On arrival my first impression was that the property is a renovated motel with a multi-story concrete parking garage built around an old mansion that looks like... More

It is such a shame and we were so disappointed as this is truly a lovely historic property and a great location for getting around Austin. Rooms are nicely appointed but on the small side as are the bathrooms. The noise level is extremely high! When someone would shut the door to their room our entire room shook like there... More

The front of the inn is very impressive looking, but there isn't a lot of common areas inside the inn. We stayed in the newer wing. Our room was nicely decorated and an adequate size, but the bathroom was too small. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. We also had a good breakfast there and the price was... More
