I attended a banquest event for around 1000 people. The ballroom was very nice. The service good. However, the food was inedible. Virtually no one at my table of ten people ate much of the food. We blocked rooms for our wedding, and signed a contract a year ago. All of the out-of-town guest found a lot cheaper deals in the Austin area. I've now stayed at this hote twice in the past few months and I've been equally pleased each time. The hotel pool is fabulous, the beds are comfortable, and the bar stocks my favorite Tequilla. Ask for Terrance when you visit the lobby bar! more

Spent three nights and four days at Hilton Austin. Convention hotel. Booking was easy and friendly (Thanks Brigid) Staff on site was friendly, helpful and eager to help.
