We have stayed here so many times you would think we lived there! We love the Monroe room but all are fabulous! After reading all the reviews, it sounds like some people just cant be satisfied. too bad. i love it here. :) More

I stayed at Brava House for a long weekend with my husband and two children. We decided to go somewhere more "homely" than a faceless hotel chain. Brava House is in one of Austin oldest neighbourhoods and the house itself is old style (although we discovered that the cladding is no longer wood but plastic!).We arrived late evening in the... There are a LOT of things to like about this B&B. The location is great: residential but only a few blocks to 6th Street, and an easy drive to anywhere in the city. At $139 per night (pre-tax), we thought this was very appropriately priced. The ground-floor Van Gogh room was spacious; the breakfasts were really good (especially on the... More

We stay at Brava House every year when we visit friends in Austin for the Thanksgiving holiday. We have stayed in almost every room in the place and love them all. They are all unique, wonderfully furnished and very comfortable and cozy. Most of all, we enjoy the warm hospitality of the proprietors, who do a great job of making... More

We chose to stay at the Brava House during a recent visit to Austin to see our son. The location is great. You can walk to Whole Foods which is an adventure in itself. The house is very pretty and clean. For us, it had an odd vibe. We are used to B and B's where there is interaction with... More

Charming house, lovely cozy room. Great alternative to a downtown hotel. Arrived late and left early. Stayed in the Fitzgerald Suite which was very nicely appointed. The bed was very comfortable. If you're looking for a comfortable cozy nights rest, this is a great find. More

We'll never stay in a downtown Austin Hotel again during our yearly pilgrimage to Austin. Nothing can beat the Brava House for Historic charm in a quiet neighborhood. Relaxing, quiet and private yet easy walking or driving distance to nearby specialty stores, local cuisine and nightlife. Accomodations were perfect in the Fitzgerald Room and the owners were very accommodating, friendly... More

Thanks for another great stay. We stayed in the Fitzgerald suite and loved our time in Austin and at the Brava House. The location is ideal for anyone wanting to explore downtown Austin and is easily accessed by both Mopac (hwy 1) and I35. The house itself is beautiful, and we found our room, bed and sitting area very comfortable... More

Brava House has a wonderful location and is a charming house, but beware if you book the Casablanca or Monroe rooms as you won't be in the Victorian home, but in a new addition out back. We were disappointed that after spending more than $400 for three nights, they charged for snack items in the room. I've been in the... More
