I was in Austin for the UIL Competition and this was the hotel chosen by the Burkburneet ISD. The location was the best with regards to BASS Concert Hall. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

I was traveling on business and when I tried to check in they did not have any record of my name. It seems I made the reservation at the other Doubletree on I-35 by mistake. This is an excellent place to stay for events like UT graduation or football/basketball/baseball games. You can easily walk to these events and not have to fight the horrendous traffic big crowds produce. Staff is friendly and helpful. When I made this reservation I didn't know that there would be a major university graduation going on! The price was excellent and in spite of all the activity, the staff was right on top! Very comfortable too!
