I used to stay at this hotel everytime I came to Amarillo several years ago. I was in Amarillo recently and noticed this hotel looked closed ? It used to be a large nice hotel, had a good breakfast and the staff was good. There was one lady who worked there for several years was always wonderful and helpful. What is... More

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever entered in my life! We booked the room through Expedia which gave it 2 1/2 stars?! It wasn't worth even 1/4 of a star. There were about 4 cars in the parking lot and the security door to the hotel was wide open! The entire hotel smelled of mold and... More

I read trip advisor on every hotel we book. I have never wrote a review but I felt I had to on this hotel. This hotel should not be open for business. It looked like it had been closed down for a long time and reopened before cleaning. Parking lot had weeds growing, the lobby had old furniture stacked and... More

Stayed here in July of 2006. The place was terrible. No air conditioning when we checked in so we sweltered in our room for one night before checking into the super 8. There was no security due to the exterior doors being open to allow for air circulation. People were drinking in the pool area till 3:00 am. And the... More

I was at the hotel to sign in at 3:00PM as they told me and at 3:45 they finally had to change my 2nd floor room from a king size bed over looking the indoor pool to a ground floor room with 2 beds and a view of a trucks grill out the window in order to make the Marine... More

First impression as that the place was tolerable, but unfortunately, that was a mistake. The room and the hotel smelled really, really funky. Its a fairly large place, but there were just a few pickup trucks, in the dark, scary parking lot. The room was filthy. My wife got up very early, grabbed her suitcase, and waited for me in... More

This is the worst hotel in the North America. I was approached by two prostitutes while trying to check into my room. The lobby was scary. The room was beyond filthy. I am sure there are cleaner crack houses. My wife and I decided to drive though the night rather than risk our health and lives by staying the night.... More

I first stayed at this hotel in 2002 when it was managed by a national chain. It wasn't bad then, but as of July 2006 it has gone downhill. The rooms are nice sized but not particularly clean. TV worked ok, bed linen was threadbare and the mattress a bit lumpy. The high speed internet worked sporadically at best -... More

Wow... After reading the other reviews, I wonder if we got off lucky!? My daughter and I flew in and were picked up at the airport in a prompt fashion by Don The Cowboy, who was friendly and helpful. Our room was on the second floor, facing the pool at the far end of the hotel - the picture was... More
