My wife and I traveled to Athens for her Birthday weekend in late October 2011. We made this decision based on other reviewers comments. Richard and Elaine are simply wonderful people that make you feel at home in their B&B. Everything was perfect and what a relaxing weekend. They had all sorts of specialty teas, exquisite breakfasts, and heartwarming stories... More

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Majestic Mansion. Richard and Elaine made us feel like family. The breakfasts were delicious and our favorite was the pecan pie muffins. The house was beautiful and we enjoyed our ride around town with Richard. We will definitely be going back. More

My wife and I spent the weekend here recently, to get away from it all. It turns out, we found the perfect place. This B&B is one of the best we've ever stayed in. The house is beautifully decorated, and in great condition. Richard and Elaine are gracious hosts, and attended to our every need. We stayed in the Empress... More

We used the Living Social deal for our first stay at Majestic Mansion and it would be well worth paying the regular price. Elaine and Richard are so welcoming and thoughtful with plenty of suggestions on local attractions nearby if you want to explore the town. Our room was beautiful and the bed was beyond comfortable (this coming from a... More

My husband and I stayed in the Majestic Mansion B&B over the Labor Day weekend. From the minute we walked in the door the inkeepers, Elaine and Richard, gave us the royal treatment. We received freshly dipped chocolate and strawberries in our room the first night and delectible assortment of cheese and fruit our second night. Now being a B&B,... More

My girlfriend and I just spent two nights at the Mansion. We had an excellent time; this is an easy “Highly Recommended.” Elaine and Richard were wonderful hosts. They were gracious, amiable, a complete pleasure to talk with — and ran their inn with absolute, easy competence. Just flawless treatment. The food was excellent; and Elaine and Richard very thoughtfully,... More
