I was visiting a good friend in Ashland last week and stayed at Ashland's Black Swan Inn for 2 nights. To say it was a wonderful experience would be an understatement! I stayed in the Blossom Room and loved the soft blue and yellow decor, view of the mountains outside my window, beyond comfortable bed and charming claw foot tub.... More

My family and I went on a road trip, and Ashland was our 2nd stop. The town itself is absolutely adorable! The B&B looked really nice online and when we pulled up we were not let down. It's an old beautiful building with a peaceful front garden. The inn sitter was very nice and offered us tea and cookies and... More

We have found Ashland's Black Swan Inn to be a wonderful stop on the way to visiting our son at college in Eugene and traveling back to Northern California. We stayed in the Garden Cottage and enjoyed a cozy evening. The B&B is nicely situated downtown so we could walk to dinner and a movie and then enjoy an evening... More

A college friend and I decided to meet in Ashland to share a weekend and get caught up. I’ve been going to Ashland’s Black Swan Inn for years, usually in the Rose Room with my husband, but this time I reserved the Botanical Suite for a weekend reunion with a college roommate. Ideal, I thought- two rooms, two beds and... More

Thank you Shae for taking the time to let people know about your experience at our B&B. We are so glad that you and your college friend had the right environment for your get-together. And yes, a cozy home like our Victorian makes a wonderful retreat for a larger group as well. We have 2 rooms and 2 suites within... More

We had a great time in Ashland this week. We stayed in the Swan Suite at the Ashland's Black Swan and loved it. Very spacious room with a large sitting area and separate bedroom, and a claw-foot tub/shower in the bathroom. It's well-kept, clean, and very, very comfortable. The Swan Suite has a private entrance as well as an internal... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience at Ashland's Black Swan Inn. The Black Swan Suite is a wonderful place to call home while in Ashland. It was the first room we stayed in while considering purchase of the inn and it sold us. The turn-of-the-century moldings, the lovely sash windows, antique doors and spacious layout combine... More

I stayed here with my wife for a few days. As an Ashland B&B, it is quite good, though a notch below perfect due to the somewhat antiquated rooms. It's a good B&B on the whole, and the location is top notch. You can park here the whole stay and not move your car for the duration of your visit... More

Thank you for staying at our inn and for taking the time to write a review. We are pleased that you noticed so many details such as the old world charm, cleanliness, delicious food and enthusiastic staff. I think it’s worth taking a moment to touch on the idea of “old” and therefor below par. It is a concept with... More

stayed in the cottage for a weekend getaway -- wonderful experience! Tracy, the owner, was great! Daily breakfast was delicious. The cottage was perfect -- cozy, relaxing, clean. Location was close to restaurants and the theater. Would definitely go back and stay there!

I stayed here when I couldn't get a reservation at my favorite BnB (I travel to Ashland once a month on average). The inn is a block off main street, close to several restaurants and the Shakespeare venues (which were all closed this time of the year. The owner couldn't be more friendly, I slept well, and breakfast was fine.... More

Tracy greeted us with warm cookies and a wonderful personality. I've stayed at Bed & Breakfasts before, and the Black Swan was as good as or better than all of the others! The food pictures on the website are very accurate - the food is delicious and the presentation is just as good. The B&B is very centrally-located, and Tracy... More

Property is a nice two story home in a cute little neighborhood close to main street which has restaurants/bars and is very close to shakespeare festival. Check in wasn't until 4 and we arrived early. The owner/operator was out somewhere and drove back to let us in early so we could store are bags and then go walk around town.... More
