The smell of lavander fills the air of this historic hotel in Ashland OR. The halls are decorated with hand painted birds and flowers with real dried flowers on display inside. Ambuance was top of the line as we walked around and explored the hotels many public rooms includeing a ballroom, a meeting room, a garden room and so much... more

I traveled here with my fiance the weekend of our engagement. Rooms are a tad on the small side as others have noted, but I didnt' find it a hindrance. They are wonderfully furnished and decorated. This room had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! The toiletries were amazingly scented and the bathroom was just beautiful. Staff... more

We've visited Ashland twice in as many years and our favorite place to stay (so far) is the Ashland Springs. The rooms were great, service was pleasant. The nightly cookies were a plus and the morning breakfast is the best. When we visited Ashland again with a bigger group of friends my wife went out of her way to get... more

We stayed at the hotel 2 nights in July. We booked a Queen View. Our room was very tiny. My main complaint is that we did not get a queen sized bed. I complained to the desk twice and the front desk manager once. They all said "You are wrong. It is a Queen." (exact words). Even if I was... more

We were able to check in a little early, which was a positive. We were surprised to see how small the room was considering we reserved a deluxe king view room and viewed photos on their website. I was a bit annoyed about that, because I had to spend a lot of time in the room writing a paper for... more

This hotel is right in the heart of downtown Ashland. We weren't there for the Shakespeare plays but this would be convenient for that. The room we had was very small by today's standards. There is a closet to hang clothes and stash your luggage. There is just enough room for the bed and a chair. There is maybe three... more

I am a business traveler. Almost 10 years I have traveled all cities in Oregon, and I have the choice of any hotel in any town. Same goes for restaurants. Most hotels I stay in i wish could be more like home. When I stay at the Ashland Springs Hotel, I wish home could be more like it. I have... more

I made my reservation by telephone on October 12, 2007, for July 3,4 and 5 of 2008. I received a letter with my confirmaton number. On June 26, I received another letter "looking forward to having us as our guest", saying to please review the reservation if any changes need to be made. We arrived on July 3, and were... more

Booked room six months in advance for wedding in Ashland. When we arrived for a three night stay, we were put in a tiny room without many of the amenities listed on the Ashland Springs website. Contacted front desk and was told hotel was sold out with no other rooms available. While waiting in the lobby, two walk-ups came in... more
