We have just got back from a week's stay at the Ayhan. I couldnt really fault the hotel...the room was very clean, the garden area was lovely and quiet - we didnt use the pool as was very, very, small. The breakfast was fine, typical turkish breakfast consisting of bread, honey, cheese, cucumber and tomato - this also came with... more

Stayed here in July 2009. Was amazed to find that the owner Memhet drank every night with his dodgy cronies. He tried to scam me when paying the bill. There was no aircon in my room and to call it basic would be doing it a big big fvour. Avoid like the plague or you may very well get it. Food... more

Just returned from a week at this hotel, we booked just a few days before so weren't really expecting much, but this place really is a little gem, the family that run it are very friendly and will do pretty much anything for you... We arrived at 04:30am and our suitcases were taken to our room straight away.. To cut... more

After reading a few bad reviews of the Ayhan before I went there I always intended to put forward my own experience, but it went by the wayside. Looking for hotels for this year's holiday has reminded me! What can I say about this place - amazing! Yes, it was only small, the rooms were basic, the pool is small... more

Although we have not stayed at Mehmets hotel for a couple of years or so, we will definitely be going back some time soon. We have spent 2 or 3 fantastic holidays in this friendly, happy, family run hotel. All the staff are helpful, courteous and friendly and the family atmosphere pervades the whole place. I would thoroughly reccomend the... more

Spent 2 weeks here last year with 3 friends. Family run by Mehmet and his family. Very clean, food good and reasonably priced. Handilly situated about 100 yards from middle of main drag and about 150 yards from Mr Frogs at top end of Bar Street. Pool is only small and only about 4 sunbeds but if you only want... more

I have just returned from the Ayhan yesterday after spending a week there with my partner and five year old daughter. We all found the hotel extremely pleasant and it's true that the family make you feel completely at home and you really do get to see a "real" family run hotel at work and not some faceless resort hotel... more
