first time in turkey ,went with my grandaughter who's 3 had a really good time needs more childrens facilities . guest friendly plenty of choices to eat out the jasmine gardens was my choice beach 5minutes away one thing that bothered me was all the wild cats/dogs everywhere more

just arrived home after a week at the ali baba... hotel rooms were very clean, the owner seb was great nothing was to much trouble... the swimming pool was very clean plenty of sun loungers... the madhead barman HARRY kept us entertained all week what a nutter, hope he got the hang of the card game without cheating.. will deffo... more

well i went to Gumbet in august tihs year, hadn't been before but the people i was travelling with had been many times & had stayed in Ali Baba before. The hotel is a small family run hotel and the staff are lovely, HARRY the barman is the crazziest, most lovely barman you could get, he really made our holiday.... more

I am stayıng at the Alı Baba hotel and wrıtıng thıs sıttıng next to the pool on a lovely evenıng. Me and my friend stayed at the Ali Baba 24th july - 7th aug and I absolutely loved it! Was welcomed by Harry when we arrived and he carried our bags to our room and sorted our air con out, very reasonable at 20 lira per week, I would without a doubt suggest getting the air con as would've been... more

We stopped at the ali baba in gumbet from 20th july to the 4 august 2009. We were a bit concerned as we did nt pay much at all for the holiday so wasnt expecting much. It was our first holiday without our kids (now 19 and 16!) and after reading the reports on here we felt a bit more... more
