This is just an average hotel in Manila. Location is quite good, just one block away from Robinson's place. Nothing fancy about the hotel facility, just the basics.. Though not happy with the hotel staff because they don't exert too much effort to provide customer service, not attentive on the needs of the guests.

Located in a seedy area of town most of the clientele in this hotel seem to be sex tourists. That explains why you have to get the breakfast coupons from reception each morning. The room was NOT a suite, it was a tiny hole with ineffective AC and 2 windows that actually open in to some kind of shaft, so... More

I was there only for a night 'coz I need to finish some photo editing. For starters, the vicinity was quite chaotic as it was a busy area. But once you step into the hotel, you can feel calm and the good ambience that pervades in its lobby. The staff were all nice and accommodating. The room was really cozy... More

I stayed at the City Garden Suites, Ermita Manila for four nights (May 6-10, 2012). The hotel was really nice and clean and I felt very safe inside the hotel. Peter was the concierge when I arrived; he was super friendly and spoke excellent English since he had lived in the U.S. before. I booked my stay through Orbitz and... More

City Garden Suites is located in the famous Redlight District on Mabini Street in Manila. The hotel itself takes every precaution to making sure you are in a safe environment. And even though it can be unsafe to rome the streets at sundown in many parts of Manila, there are so many places within a block of the hotel to... More

paid about $80 for my room and it was extremely basic and dated. at least the aircon worked so maybe i should not complain? for that price i expected soft bed not just typical foam mattress. i was also looking forward to getting dressed up and taking my lady to the hotel bar, but was disappointed to see it was... i had been staying in this garden with almost no flowers ( well, in city u cant expect much flowers ya?) for the 5th time, generally i had pleasant experiences, still there are areas with scope of improvement, as i have noticed most of the guests are foreigners, Europeans, Arabs, Indians, Koreans, Japanese etc but 80% of the food available... Am 65 year old Australian. Staff are all over you to help they are impecably dressed. Ask for room in new wing. Security is tight. Your checked usually for zips undone and wallet showing as you walk out the door. Food available from early to late. Breakfast 6am to 10am. Rooms are great. Clean. Beds changed every day. Catholic church... More
