We stayed in a dorm room, which had clearly not been touched in a while, though the rest of the place seemed to be a little more modern (though also swarming with bed bugs, so what's the difference?)
We were meant to stay here for five nights, but on the first night I received 148 bed bug bites from the dorm bed - a lot of other people in the dorm had had them too, and our friends staying in a double had to change rooms three times because of the bed bugs.
We reported it downstairs, and they said that I could change bed within the same dorm room, which didn't seem good enough, so we ended up leaving, but the only thing they did to combat the bugs was spray the tiniest bit of bug spray on the mattress I had slept in, which, let's face it, isn't going to do much.
The staff were rather rude, suggesting I'd brought them in myself, even though I'd been bed bug free until then, and had not been in Thailand, like they were suggesting I had. When we left, they told...
