I usually stay at the Concorde hotel, which i find to be excellent all the time! However, this place was fully booked so out of desperation and tiredness to found this hole! The exterior says it all. Grotty, seedy and surrounded by low class trash!
I'd had 4 hours sleep the night before and just wanted somewhere to relax and...

The room was dirty . The desk surface was filthy. The top shelve of the wardrobe hadn't been cleaned for probably a year - thick layer of dust. The window ledge of the bathroom window had old pieces of soap from previous guests. The shouting and arguing of working girls with hotel guests, the frequent car alarms going off outside,...

This was our 4th time here and the location is still excellent (heart of Bukit Bintang) However, with the disappearance of the Arab Restaurant on the ground floor and the demolition of the corner Irish pub,the area seemed seedier than previously. This hotel needs major overhauling! The renovation of rooms that started 2 years ago seems to have ground to a...

The moment you see the hotel, you can roughly know what awaits you inside. The exterior of the hotel is shabby. It's situated along a back street and you can expect unwanted visitors hanging out along it when night falls. No doubt the hotel is very near to all the best shopping centres in Bukit Bintang!
Check-in was alright. The...

We arrived outside and presumed straight...

We stayed here for two nights. We booked the hotel from Malacca over phone and they kept the rooms for us. This is not a luxury hotel. They do not have any breakfast. But the rooms are very comfortable and the service of the reception is very good. They arranged vehicles for us to visit Genting. They also arranged a...

Great location! This hotel is located along a backstreet. Shopping malls like Lot10, Pavilion, Sungei Wang are just a short walk away.
Rooms are really basic, toilet is clean though. I stayed there for only 1 night, and had no idea how to adjust the air conditioning, coz there was only 1 retro dial to turn!
We got the Deluxe...

I stayed at Hotel Fortuna for two nights based on reviews at TripAdvisor. I was very pleased and surprised.
Yes, the hotel is dated but it was very clean and a great value for the price. We paid MYR163.00 per night. The room I had was a double and very spacious with high ceilings. Three liters of drinking water were...

From the outside, the hotel looks very shabby but the lobby is done up very nicely. The rooms are small and plain, but clean. The hotel is in a great location, only a few hundred metres from the big shopping centres.
Our only complaint about this hotel was that you could not turn off the air-conditioning so it was very...
