We stayed at this hotel for 1 night. There is nothing nice to say about it. The room is really in need of a make-over, our sheets had cigarette burns in them, the bathroom had a squelchy floor where water is UNDER the tiles so its never dry. There is a hole in the bathroom ceiling also (We asked to... More

The hotel is just 10 minutes away from the LRT station of Pasar Seni, many famous old buildings are within walking distance, such as KL railway station, Masjid Jamek, Merdeka Square, Sultan Abdul Samad building ect. And many restaurants around. If you pay by credit card, the holtel will charge additional 2% for bank tax, it's a bad experience about... More

Located bang in the middle of Chinatown we paid £19 for a double room with private bathroom. No window, but for one night it was fine. The electrics in the room seemed a little sparky so we avoided the plug sockets, but in general it was clean and comfortable. No safety deposit boxes available when we stayed. Front of house... More

Hotel prices in Kuala Lumper are higher than in other places of southeast asia, however you can find good prices at china town. China town 2, situated in the center of kuala lumpur china town is a nice budget hotel, the cheaper rooms dont have a windows and are really small, you pay for what you get. The hotel itself... More

Some people have very high expectations of most buget hotels in S.E.Asia. For the price this hotel is great value, window rooms are available, and the windows do open. you just have to ask. While in KL we didn't spend much time in the room so the room size does'nt really matter, does it? Great counter staff, very helpful. Well... More

I have pre-booked this room due to my late arrival in Kuala Lumpur. It was a cheap room and that is really also how it looked like. The room had no windows, it did have an AC, but it did not work very well, and the entire room had a light smell of Fungus. There was WIFI in the guesthouse,... More

Thought this place was good value. Have traveled all over Asia the last 20 or so years and can now afford not to totally rough it! Clean, cool and quiet. Hot water, air con, daily room service if you like, cold drinking water and free wi fi is all good. Cheerful helpful staff. Just don't get caught in rain at... More

Hotel Chinatown 2 is not bad. It cost us about 100 RM ($30) for a double room per night and the room had an ensuite bathroom, was clean, but didn't have a window. Waking up in pitch black is extremely difficult. The hotel is well located in the thick of the action in Chinatown and stepping into the aircon and... More
