It's located right besides Berjaya Times Square which makes traveling around very easy. Staff is very friendly and it's a good idea to chat up with them about how and where to travel. Good place to bunk in for cheap with decent quality of facilities.

We stayed here after long flight. Didnt have a good night. Room was really really small and the airconditioning didnt work during the night, making it really hot. Showers dont have Any hot water nor do they have pressure. Staff is fairly friendly though.

I stayed here recently during a trip to Kuala Lumpur and had a great stay. I rented a double room with fan for a good price and the rooms were larger than many nearby hotels which I had stayed in previously. The Wifi coverage was excellent and the staff are super friendly. They looked after my laundry, advised me on... More

I found the Staff here to be perfectly friendly. The place was clean and bed comfortable (I was in a Dorm) but a bit creaky. I had wanted to stay in Chinatown but having no Internet access in Borneo put a spanner in the booking process and this was the best rated hostel left over New Years. My only gripe... More

Location is good behind the Times Square. A 10-15 mins walk can get you to Jalan Alor where street food is aplenty. Rooms are clean and toilets too. However, without the aircond, it can get really stuffy. When we booked, we opted for the fan only room because of our budget. After realising that it gets very warm at night,... More

We booked 3 nights here but ended up staying another 3 nights because we found it a really relaxing place to come back to after a long day around the city. It's in a great location, next to a shopping centre and 10 mins walk from the main food street Jalan Alor, but it's quiet. Clean and comfortable, really friendly... More

Comfortable, clean and cosy.. :-) I was the first to pin Durban, South Africa on the World Map in the walkway and immediately felt like I was welcomed into a brand new family away from families. Suzi and her hubby are incredibly fun to hang around and get to know. I was lucky enough to be there over New Years... More

I stayed in Irsia for 3 days and 2 nights. The staff were ok, but I didn't find the owner very pleasant. He seemed bored and not very hospitable to the guests. The place looked fine at first but very basic much like a military barracks. It would have been fine for someone who will come back to the room... More

The Irsia B&B guesthouse wasn't listed in my guidebook, but I chose it based on its location and a couple of recommendations on TravelBlog. First impression was very good, straightforward check-in and a colourfully decorated lounge with comfortable seats, two computers and some Lonely Planet guidebooks on the bookshelves. My room, on the first floor, was small and really basic... More

More like a hostel than a B&B or a guesthouse- the hotel managers stay up late into the night and make lots of noise, making sure you won't sleep until 2 or 3am. The shared bathrooms are okay but could do with more cleaning, the bedrooms (windowless), have comfortable beds but a funny smell. Air conditioning worked fine. Breakfast- eugh.... More
